Neverman heads Weber’s sugar business

Neverman heads WeberÆs sugar business    Weber Distribution, a Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based third party logistics services provider, has appointed Carl W. Neverman to vice president of client solutions for the confectionary industry.
   Neverman has more than 30 years in the logistics industry, 17 with Weber. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing new business and managing the needs of Weber's confectionary accounts, including companies such as Hershey, Nestle, Ghirardelli and Godiva.
   Weber offers a pool distribution network for the confectionary market with temperature and humidity controlled warehousing and a nationwide fleet of refrigerated freight vans and trailers.
   Before joining Weber in 1993, Neverman worked for several logistics providers, including Interamerican Group of Cos., TaB Warehouse and Transportation, and Itel Distribution.
