Ilin officially took over on Aug. 1 after working in a variety of positions at ABC and the carrier’s parent company, Volga-Dnepr.
“Despite the challenging market conditions facing all airlines, I see a very strong and positive future for AirBridgeCargo Airlines,” he said in a statement. “The airline has an excellent team of professionals and good growth potential. My job will be to maximise what we can achieve with the airline’s resources and to build a prosperous future for ABC based on our long-term, successful relationship with customers and their loyalty.”
