New larger facility for DHL in Salt Lake City

New larger facility for DHL in Salt Lake City DHL Global Forwarding, part of the logistics division of DHL, said this week it has relocated to larger facilities in Salt Lake City to accommodate increasing demand for warehousing and distribution services in the region.
   The new 45,000-square-foot facility contains 35,000 square feet of warehouse space, more than double the warehouse space of its previous facility. Located about 1.5 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, the new facility also has 10,000 square feet of office space.
   In addition to warehousing and distribution services, the facility houses the company's air freight, ocean freight and customs house brokerage operations.
