New member named to COAC
U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Friday released the names of industry representatives selected by the departments of Homeland Security and Treasury to serve on a key border federal advisory panel on cargo security and customs issues.
Jeffrey Whalen, assistant general counsel for customs and international trade, Nike Inc., Beaverton, Ore., is a new ember of the Commercial Operations Advisory Committee.
Members returning for a second, two-year term include Earl Agron, APL Ltd., Oakland, Calif.; and Adrienne Braumiller, Braumiller Schultz & Co., Dallas.
