New MSC containership collides with French trawler

A newly built 9,200-TEU containership operated by Mediterranean Shipping Co. collided on Saturday morning with a French trawler off the coast of F'camp in Normandy, France, Lloyd’s List reports.

The incident caused no injury or pollution although the fishing boat started taking in water. The 'MSC Roma' immediately stopped to assist the six crew on board the French ship, the London-based newspaper reported.
