The Grande Colonia has a length of 176 meters (577 feet), a beam of 31.1 meters (102 feet) and a speed of 20 knots. It will be used on Grimaldi Lines’ twice weekly Euro-Aegean Service linking North Europe to Portugal, Greece, Italy, Turkey and Spain.
The delivery is part of a newbuild program that will see 33 vessels delivered to Grimaldi through 2011 to expand its short sea and deep sea liner services.
