New York-New Jersey Port Authority’s Maynard dies    Daniel S. Maynard, 43, senior public information officer in the public affairs department of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, died Tuesday.
   Maynard was born in Wilmington, Mass. He joined the port authority in 1985. In recent years, Maynard also worked in the government affairs and community relations sector of the port authority’s Port Commerce Department.
   A wake will held today from 2-5 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. at the Redden Funeral Home, 325 West 14th St., New York. The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Friday in nearby St. Francis Xavier Church, 30 West 16th St.
