New York Port Day to focus on technology
The eighth annual Port of New York-New Jersey Port Industry Day will be held Oct. 20, at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City.
Organizers have chosen “Science, Technology & the Port Environment ' Meeting Shippers’ and Carriers’ Needs” as the theme. The half-day conference will include panels on the 'changing port environment,” “using science, technology, and asset investment to accommodate cargo growth,” and “the importance of New York as a capital center.”
