Nippon Express joins Lufthansa Cargo’s partnership program
Nippon Express, Japan’s largest trucking and forwarding group, has joined Lufthansa Cargo’s global partnership program, making it the first Asian member of the program.
The agreement was signed in Singapore Tuesday.
The partnership program is designed to promote synergies in sales activities, lower transaction costs and further progress on industry issues such as automation of business processes.
As a partner in the program, Nippon Express will get prioritized access to cargo capacity and assistance from Lufthansa Cargo’s customer support team, Lufthansa Cargo said.
Lufthansa Cargo’s existing partners in the program are ABX, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean, EGL, Exel, Geologistics, Hellmann, Kuehne + Nagel, Menlo, Panalpina, Schenker and UTI.
