NIT League readies for June 10 Policy Forum
The National Industrial Transportation League will hold its Policy Forum on June 10 in Arlington, Va.
The forum, 'The Future Course for Freight Transport,' will include key policymakers from government and industry. U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will be the event's opening keynote speaker.
Other speakers are Daniel Elliot, chairman of the Surface Transportation Board; Richard Lidinsky, Federal Maritime Commission chairman; Anne Ferro, administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration; Sean Connaughton, Virginia transportation secretary; Cynthia Quarterman, administrator for the Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration; and Chris Koch, World Shipping Council, president.
