NOL names Panalpina/CEVA vet Sidler to board

The Singapore-based NOL Group, parent of the liner carrier APL, on Monday said it has appointed Bruno Sidler to its board.
Sidler is the chief operating officer of market expansion services group DKSH Holding Ltd. He will join the NOL board on Sept. 16, the same day Olivier Lim steps down from the board.
“We are delighted to welcome Bruno Sidler to the NOL board,” said NOL Chairman Kwa Chong Seng in a statement. “His vast experience garnered from many years of working in the logistics sector in different parts of the world will be instrumental to our desire to grow NOL’s global logistics business.”
Based in Zurich, Sidler is a 30-year veteran of the logistics and business services industries, most of it with Panalpina Group, where he rose to become its president and chief executive officer in 1998, a position he held until 2006. Sidler held senior management roles at CEVA Logistics from 2007 to 2012, with his last appointment as its chief operating officer. Sidler joined DKSH in 2013. – Eric Johnson
