Noone, a more than 25-year maritime industry veteran, comes to the company from APL, where he held a number of senior positions in logistics and liner operations. He was most recently APL's vice president and managing director for the eastern region.
In addition, Michael Simon was named chief information officer last month. He was formerly with IBM and America Systems.
