Norbert Dentressangle signs up with fashion firm

   Third party logistics services provider Norbert Dentressangle has secured a three-year contract worth more than 100 million pounds ($155.9 million) with fashion retailer ASOS for distribution center management in the United Kingdom.
   Norbert Dentressangle has been managing ASOS’ global fulfillment center — a 1.1-million-square-foot facility that the fashion firm will soon expand by 25 percent — since August.
   “We have a proven track record in taking on and improving complex, high volume e-fulfilment operations and look forward to working with ASOS to introduce new strategies and solutions to support continued volume growth and geographical expansion,” Norbert Dentressangle’s Martin Palmer said in a statement. “Both we and ASOS operate on an increasingly global basis and we are confident that this new contract marks the beginning of a long-term, strategic partnership between our two companies.” – Jon Ross
