Nordic Tankers, V.Group launch joint venture

Dubbed Dania Ship Management, the joint venture will specialize in ship management in the Scandinavia region.

   Nordic Tankers Trading and V.Group have created a new ship management operation, the companies jointly announced.
   The new Copenhagen-based company, dubbed Dania Ship Management, will be based on Nordic Tankers’ current operations. The Nordic Tankers’ core team will head the venture.
   The new company will also be incorporated in line with the Danish Tonnage Scheme provisions to offer a local ship management core with access to V.Group’s experience in chemical and other specialized vessels, according to the joint release.
   Nordic Tankers Trading is a chemical tanker company that specializes in transporting liquid products in bulk, while V.Group specializes in global marine and offshore vessel management.
