NWA Cargo’s fuel surcharge to increase

NWA Cargo, the freight division of Northwest Airlines, will raise its fuel surcharge in certain markets effective Nov. 26, subject to the necessary government approvals.

   The airline’s international fuel surcharges, excluding traffic originating in Japan, will be increased from 70 cents to 80 cents per kilogram. Domestic fuel surcharges will be raised from 28 cents to 32 cents per pound.
