NY/NJ Forwarders named NYK’s Keller ?Person of the Year?

NY/NJ Forwarders named NYKÆs Keller æPerson of the YearÆ Peter I. Keller, president of NYK Line (North America), has been selected the 2009 Person of the Year by the New York/New Jersey Foreign Freight Forwarders and Brokers Association, Inc.
   The award will be presented during the 92nd annual dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Jan. 28.
   Keller was elected to the governing board of NYK in Tokyo in April of 2007. He is only the second non-Japanese nominated to the Governing Board in the 120-year history of NYK and the first to be named president of NYK Line (North America). Prior to NYK, Keller spent 14 years with Sea-Land Service, and before that he was both president of CAST North America in Montreal, and chief executive officer of the CAST Group.
