Located in Metz in northeastern France, Lorang employs 30 people in two locations mainly serving exporters of manufactured goods in the region.
Lorang’s previous owner, Daniel Rossi, will continue as president of the company and manage the business on a day-to-day basis.
“NYK Logistics Europe plan to expand the successful Lorang business model by developing synergies with its European network in 12 countries,” NYK said in a statement.
