NYK chairman to chair freight federation
NYK Line chairman Koji Miyahara was nominated as the next chairman of the Japan Federation of Freight Industries, the carrier said Thursday.
The JFFI chairmanship is generally filled by the chairman of another logistics-related organization, and Miyahara became eligible after he was recently nominated as chairman of the Japanese Shipowners' Association, NYK said.
JFFI is a nationwide organization of logistics related-organizations and companies with services covering air, sea, and land.
