NYK continues coal transport for Taiwan Power Co
Japanese carrier NYK Line said Wednesday it has secured a charter contract with Taiwan Power Co. for the transport of 1 million tons of coal to Taiwan from Indonesia and Australia.
The contract term runs from March to January 2008, and marks the third consecutive year since 2005 that the two companies have signed such a one-year deal.
Terms of the deal were not released.
