NYK LINE SIGNS CONTRACT WITH SEASUPPLIER
NYK Line has signed a global e-procurement contract with SeaSupplier Ltd., a marine e-procurement subsidiary of Stolt-Nielsen S.A.
SeaSupplier said its SeaManager solution and consulting services will provide the Japanese container carrier with a platform that manages the procurement process and achieves cost savings and improved efficiencies.
The system, which is based on an Application Software Provider (ASP) concept, allows NYK Line to connect to its supplier community through multiple communication formats, including XML, MTML, EDI and EDIFACT.
