NYK ORDERS FOUR PURE CAR AND TRUCK CARRIERS
The Japanese shipping group NYK has ordered four 6,400-unit Pure Car and Truck Carriers for delivery in 2004.
The new PCTC ships will replace “aged and small-to-medium-size” car carriers that have a limited capacity for high cars, NYK said.
NYK said that it aims to achieve further cost competitiveness and a higher quality of transportation.
