NYK receives bulk ship
Tokyo-based NYK has taken delivery of a new 90,000-deadweight-ton bulk carrier built by Oshima Shipbuilding Co. Ltd.
The bulk carrier, 'Shin Sanyo Maru,' is the fourth vessel to be used entirely for the transport of coal for Chugoku Electric Power Co. Inc., mainly from Australia and Indonesia to its power stations and coal centers in Japan.
