NYK renames container division
NYK Line said Monday it is rebranding its container shipping business as NYK Container Line as a result of integrating its intra-Asia subsidiary TSK Line.
The Tokyo-based carrier said earlier this year it would merge the TSK liner business into its existing global container line, a move that will be formally complete Nov. 1, at which point the new container line name goes into effect.
NYK also operates bulk and car carrier divisions.
