Japan’s NYK will April 1 split its Western European logistics business into two regional companies: NYK Logistics North Continent and NYK Logistics South Europe.
Both companies will be part of NYK Group Europe, logistics division.
NYK Logistics North Continent will by headed by Piet Boogaard as chief executive officer and includes NYK Logistics (Belgium), NYK Logistics (Deutschland), NYK Logistics (Edam), NYK Logistics (Nederland) and the NYK Logistics (Mondia) group of companies.
Giuseppe Fontana will be appointed CEO for NYK Logistics South Europe, which includes NYK Logistics (Italy), NYK logistics (Iberica), NYK Logistics (France), and NYK Logistics (Lorang).
