OAG ties up three deals in Munich

OAG ties up three deals in Munich    Online air freight portal OAG said Tuesday it has signed agreements with partner agents in Turkey and Thailand, as well as a strategic alliance with software developer IBS software.
   In Turkey, OAG will use Cargoport, an Istanbul-based company whose aim is to support better IT usage in the Turkish air cargo market. In Thailand, OAG has signed a deal with Trade & Logistics Siam, a publishing company that also serves as a marketing agent for the air freight industry.
   As for the alliance with IBS, which develops software for the trade, tourism and transportation industries, IBS will develop the new version of OAG’s Air Freight Rate product, which enables airlines to distribute their rates electronically and forwarders to manage rates and optimize its selection of carriers.
   All three deals were announced at the Air Cargo Europe Exhibition and Conference in Munich.
