The new ship will immediately commence a one-year time charter upon its delivery to the Athens-based company in early January.
OceanFreight also said it has entered into a new $325 million loan facility with Nordea Bank comprising a $200 million revolving credit facility and a $125 million delayed draw term loan.
With the addition of the new ship, the OceanFreight fleet will comprise one capesize and eight Panamax bulk carriers with aggregate capacity of 742,000 deadweight tons.
