Old Dominion cracks Fortune’s fastest-growing list

   Old Dominion has been chosen as the 74th company in the 2013 edition of Fortune magazine’s list of 100 fastest-growing companies. 
   On a three-year average, Fortune found Old Dominion has achieved a 21 percent revenue growth and a 68 percent profit growth. Across that time span, the company’s total return has grown by 39 percent.
   Old Dominion’s chief executive officer, David Congdon, said the carrier has experienced strong growth at a challenging time for the industry.
   “While we’re thrilled to make the list, we realize we must continue to focus on delivering our promises to our customers,” Congdon said in a statement. “By constantly investing in our employees and infrastructure, we believe we are continuing to position ourselves for long-term growth.”
