Old Dominion expands in St. Louis

Old Dominion expands in St. Louis    Old Dominion Freight Line has relocated its St. Louis service center to a 25-acre site in nearby St. Charles, Mo.
   The new 98-door terminal employs more than 140 staff and will enable Old Dominion to more efficiently handle shipments across the dock for customers in the St. Louis area.
   'Our increased market share in the area has made it necessary to expand our current local and line haul operations,' said Dave Bates, Old Dominion's vice president of the central states region, in a statement.
   The service center will be managed by James Joliff and will provide direct service to more than 15 cities surrounding St. Louis. Old Dominion currently operates 213 service centers in the United States.
