OmniTRAX buys California short-line railroad
OmniTRAX said Tuesday it had purchased the Stockton Terminal & Eastern Railroad.
The 25-mile ST&E is located in California’s Central Valley and is linked to the Port of Stockton via the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads. It is located near Interstate 5, one of the country’s busiest freight corridors, and serves a number of Fortune 500 customers located on its lines.
OmniTRAX, which is part of the Broe Group, manages 17 regional and short line railroads.
