Hong Kong-based Orient Overseas Container Line and the
Chinese carrier Shandong Yantai International Marine Shipping Co. have commenced a joint
container service between North China and Japan.
Using three ships, the joint "Qingdao Japan Express Service"
provides two sailings from Japan to Qingdao every three weeks.
The rotation of the service is Qingdao, Yokohama, Tokyo, Qingdao, Kobe,
Osaka, Nagoya and back to Qingdao.
