OOCL wants to strengthen its position in Vietnam as the Southeast Asian country prepares to enter the World Trade Organization.
'With flourishing local economic growth, we believe cargo potential will be very encouraging over the coming years,' said James Chou, general manager of OOCL Vietnam, in a statement.
'Our own branch offices will enable us to offer enhanced and comprehensive services to our valued customers through internal integrated systems, dedicated full-functional organization and extensive service network, linking Vietnam to Asia, India Sub-continent, Australia, Europe and North American,' he added.
OOCL (Vietnam) was established in 2004 and is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City.
