OOCL opens Kolkata office
OOCL said Monday it has opened its sixth branch office in India, in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal.
The Hong Kong-based carrier and logistics company also has offices in Mundra, Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi and Tuticorin.
“This office will serve as a gateway for eastern India and for landlocked Nepal,” said Bernard Soh, managing director of OOCL India. “It will allow us to cover the growing market of industrial agricultural produce, to and from East India.”
The carrier has two weekly services calling Kolkata to/from Singapore for transshipment to its global network.
