OOCL promotes Kwok to COO

   The liner carrier OOCL has made three changes in its executive team effective July 1.
   Michael Kwok will be promoted to chief operating officer, with responsibilities covering trades and corporate logistics functions. Kwok is currently director of trades, a position he’s held since 2010. Previous roles in his 33 years with OOCL include director of intra-Asia trade, head of fleet management, and head of corporate logistics. Kwok brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role for having served OOCL.
   Stephen Ng will replace Kwok as director of trades, with responsibilities in the management of three major east west trades, intra-Europe trade, and the Grand Alliance and G6 Alliance activities. Ng will continue to be the spokesman for OOCL.
   Paul Devine will remain as general manager of corporate logistics with additional responsibilities overseeing the public relations and promotion, and research and new markets departments.
