OOCL receives ninth 8,063-TEU ship
Hong Kong-based Orient Overseas Container Line today named and took delivery of its ninth in a series of 12 8,063-TEU “SX-class” containerships.
The vessel “OOCL Asia” was built by Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries and was named at the Geoje Shipyard, on Geoje Island, South Korea.
The “OOCL Asia” will be deployed on the Grand Alliance’s weekly Asia-Europe EU3 service.
