Overseas Cargo, Inc. launches updated software

The third party logistics provider said it will launch an updated version of RapidLink, its web-based supply chain software and service solution.    Third party logistics provider Overseas Cargo, Inc., also known as ShipOCI, announced it will launch an updated version of RapidLink, its web-based supply chain software and service solution.
   RapidLink is designed to streamline, forecast and simplify the supply chain process. It integrates 3PL activities directly with customer operations. Through RapidLink, customers have constant access their shipment data.
   The third-party logistics provider will launch RL 6.0, the most updated version of RapidLink, at the end of the month. It will undergo testing for about four weeks before it replaces RL 5.0, which was launched in early 2014.
   RL 6.0 will give RapidLink the look and feel of Windows 10.
   Feature highlights of RL 6.0 include drag-and-drop organizing of sections, shortcuts, workflows, leader-board and performance evaluation, worldwide container tracking and alerts and visual load-out creations.
