OWL strengthens Asia operations

OWL strengthens Asia operations    Non-vessel-operating common carrier Ocean World Lines has promoted Eric Seamon to vice president of its expanding operations in Asia.
   Seamon, a 20-year industry veteran, is responsible for overseeing OWL's operations, sales, marketing, finance, human resources and further expansion for all offices and services within the Asia Pacific region.
   He was OWL's regional vice president for Asia Pacific. Before joining OWL, Seamon worked for Manalytics International as a supply chain consultant for retail and third-party logistics activities with a focus on Asia. He also held management positions UPS Supply Chain Solutions and the Fritz Cos.
   In addition to its offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Qingdao, OWL will open offices in Ningbo, Xiamen and Shenzhen in the first quarter of 2011. OWL will continue to expand throughout China and the Far East with plans to open offices in Dalian, Tianjin, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines and Bangladesh by the end of 2011.
