Oxbow Carbon, a global recycler and distributor of refinery byproducts, said this week it has increased its restricted party screening productivity by 82 percent using the export solution of Amber Road, a provider of on-demand global trade management (GTM) solutions.
Oxbow said it has been able to centralize and automate its export compliance processes across 90 countries and screen against 250 lists by consolidating 13 ERP systems into one common database portal.
Oxbow added that it has tripled the number of restricted party lists it screens against, reduced employee capital costs by 80 percent, and decreased false positive results from 10 percent to 0.4 percent.
“We were looking to improve efficiency and productivity on our old RPS model … and significantly reduce manual effort,” said Louis Lisowski, director of compliance, Oxbow Carbon LLC, adding that “the implementation phase of the project was 75 percent under the budgeted implementation costs.” – Eric Johnson
