Pacer Cartage selects Trinium operating software

Pacer Cartage selects Trinium operating software    Pacer Cartage Inc., part of the wholesale arm of Pacer International Inc., has contracted with Trinium Technologies, a provider of intermodal software systems, for applications to assist cartage operating systems and processes.
   Pacer Cartage will use the Trinium “TMS” software as its core application to handle orders, activities, invoicing, driver payment and equipment management.
   Pacer will also employ a series of Trinium sub-modules: “mobilecomm” for remote dispatching, a distribution management module called “DMS” to operate less-than-truckload and cross-dock activities, and Trinium’s “event management” module for automated customer notifications and handling work flow.
   Pacer Cartage’s operations, through a network of 18 U.S. terminals, provide intermodal drayage, harbor drayage, container freight station pick-up, and local and regional full-and-partial-load pickup and delivery.
