PACER TRUCKING GROUP NAMES OLDSON EXECUTIVE VP

PACER TRUCKING GROUP NAMES OLDSON EXECUTIVE VP    Pacer Global Logistics' Truck Services group has promoted Russ Oldson to executive vice president, and named Steve Gaskill, John O'Toole and George Michaelback as vice presidents.
   Oldson was vice president for field operations for Pacer Transport the group's flatbed, heavy-haul and over-the-road van unit. In his new position he will oversee the unit's field operations, central dispatch and customer service departments, as well as information technology and corporate reporting.
   Gaskill has been promoted from controller to vice president and controller of the Truck Services group.
   O'Toole fills the newly created position of vice president for agency development. He continues to be responsible for agency recruiting in the western region.
   Michaelback has been promoted to vice president and general manager of the group's Harbor Rail Transport operations. The unit delivers local drayage services to and from the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports.
   Pacer Global Logistics is the retail unit of Pacer International, the non-asset-based North American third-party logistics and freight transportation provider.
