Palm Beach Trade Center plans Cuba mission

The World Trade Center-Palm Beach is planning to send a delegation to Cuba in June, according to a report in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“We hope to exchange information about several key resources found in Palm Beach County: agriculture, ranching and food processing; water purification, irrigation and related technologies; transportation; and medicine and life sciences,” a statement from trade center president Lou Haddad said.

The report said the Palm Beach trade center is working with the World Trade Center-Havana to organize the trip. An estimated 30 officials from Florida are expected to participate.
