Panalpina is expanding its over-the-road cooperation with Italian freight forwarder Arcese Espana, adding its Frankfurt and Nuremberg facilities into the the joint network.
Panalpina’s German facilities in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Hanover, Kehl, Munich and Stuttgart are already part of the collaboration between the two companies.
Arcese Espana already serves as Panalpina’s partner in Belgium and Italy.
“As partners, the two companies complement each other perfectly,” Panalpina’s Antonio Pacciolla said in a statement. “Panalpina has access to one of the largest mega-trailer fleets in Europe, and by expanding our partnership with Arcese, we can combine the volume flows in less-than-truckload traffic at the main departure points in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and Spain. In addition, Panalpina Iberia uses Arcese for the local distribution and collection of air and ocean freight shipments.” – Jon Ross
