PANALPINA GETS CHINESE APPROVAL FOR NVOCC OPERATION
The Ministry of Communications of China has approved Pantainer Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swiss forwarding group Panalpina, as a registered non vessel operating common carrier.
Pantainer is represented in China by Panalpina China Ltd.
“The registration with immediate effect enables Panalpina clients to enjoy the full NVOCC advantages of Pantainer,” the forwarding group said.
Pantainer said that its subsidiary is one of the first international NVOCCs to have received approval and complete registration in China.
