The global logistics company has named Frank Hercksen global head of ocean freight, a position he'll assume in March. Hercksen worked for years with Kuehne + Nagel in Hong Kong, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and most recently in North America as senior vice president of sea freight for the North America region.
Henrik Lund, a former DHL executive, will become global head of air freight in early 2011. Lund has worked Samson Transport, Avia Cargo, Shipco Transport, Exel Logistics (now DHL) and most recently served as a vice president for DHL Global Forwarding in Hong Kong and Germany.
Mike Wilson will become global head of logistics in January. Wilson was senior vice president of global supply chain and manufacturing operations for the Timex Group. His previous experience includes stints with Celestica Ltd., Exel Logistics (now DHL), and Deutsche Post DHL.
