PD Ports appoints managers

PD Ports appoints managers    PD Ports has appointed Jan Loland to group development manager for information technology and Lynsey Pickering as Teesport's business community manager.
   Based in Teesport, U.K., Loland is responsible for managing IT projects across the PD Ports Group. Loland was group ERP manager for Hertel Holding, a Dutch industrial services company.
   Pickering will be responsible for finalizing development of plans, policies and procedures that would enable PD Ports to quickly resume normal operations in case of a disruption. She's held similar positions during the past 18 years at British Airways and Semcorp Utilities.
   PD Ports is owned by Canadian-based Brookfield, a $90 billion global asset management firm. Brookfield acquired PD Ports in November 2009.
