Pellew departs PD Ports
Martyn Pellew, PD Ports' group development director for the past eight years, has stepped down to pursue other interests.
Pellew, who joined PD Ports in August 2002, was responsible for rebranding all the former Powell Duffryn-owned port and shipping businesses under the PD Ports identity.
He will continue to act as an advisor to PD Ports and the company will continue to support his presidency of the North East Chamber of Commerce.
Going forward, PD Ports will continue to expand its business, including pursuing renewable energy-related freight and increasing the size of its container-handling facilities at Teesport.
