Penske expands in Brazil for Whirlpool

Penske expands in Brazil for Whirlpool    Penske Logistics has opened a 110,000-square-foot warehouse in Manaus, Brazil.
   'Opening a warehouse in Manaus is an important part of Penske's long-term strategic growth in Brazil,' said Bill Scroggie, managing director for Penske Logistics Brazil, in a statement. 'Operating near an important industrial free trade zone, Penske will be able to provide much-needed warehousing services to manufacturers in the region.'
   Penske Logistics Brazil will store and ship Whirlpool brand air conditioners and microwaves to the company's retail customers throughout South American country. It is Penske's first time operating in Manaus.    Penske performs warehousing, sequencing, inbound and outbound transportation services across Whirlpool product lines in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
