Penske inks deal with BMW
Penske Logistics said it has secured multi-year logistics contracts with BMW Manufacturing Co. and BMW of North America. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Penske will manage inbound supply chain services for parts bound for BMW’s plant in South Carolina from Mexico and some U.S. suppliers. It will also provide aftermarket parts transportation services at a cross-dock facility in South Carolina and two distribution centers in California.
Penske recently opened a facility in Louisville, Ky., that will support Ford Motor Co.
