PHILIPS GIVES PAN-EUROPE DISTRIBUTION TO DEUTSCHE POST UNIT
Philips Electronics has contracted with Deutsche Post Euro Express (DPEE) for Euro Express to handle the European distribution for Philips’s pallets and parcels.
“We get Europe from a single source, and don’t have to deal with different partners in every country,” said Kees van der Vleuten, senior director of Philips.
The shipper’s goods moving between production sites, retailers and distributors will be handled using Europack and Europremium, Euro Express’s two international parcel products.
Previously, Euro Express had a contract to deliver shipments from Philips in the Netherlands.
Philips Electronics is active in 60 countries, 17 of them in Europe.
