Pilot Air tops $300 million mark
Pilot Air said Wednesday it topped the $300 million in revenues during 2005.
Pilot said the result was driven by growth in its international division, which increased 14 percent to $54.8 million in 2005.
Revenue reached $301.6 million, a 6.5 percent gain. Pilot said it handled more than 800,000 shipments, totaling 450 million pounds for the year.
The company noted international growth was spurred by growth in transpacific shipping, most notably involving trade with China.
