Pippenger to head Port of Portland security division
The Port of Portland said Monday it recently hired Daniel Pippenger, the former deputy commander of U.S. Coast Guard Sector Portland, to lead the port's marine security team.
Pippenger spent 24 years with the Coast Guard in marine security and law enforcement.
